One-Time Volunteer Opportunities
LEAF Events
Do you love being around people and making an event the best it can be? Join our volunteer team to bring the magic to LEAF events. LEAF event volunteers help us by:
setting-up and breaking-down events
supporting registration and parking
helping keep the farm clean and tidy
serving on event committees
Volunteering for events can be a few hour commitment day of or a long term commitment on a committee!
Individual Volunteering
We host individuals for one-day volunteer opportunities to support organizational tasks or support our ventures!
While we do our best do have a wide range of volunteer opportunities, we do require anyone under 10 years of age to be accompanied by guardians.
You can volunteer for a few hours or a full day. We’ll work with you to meet your goals and availability!
Please make sure to wear clothes you feel comfortable moving in and get a little dirty! We also require you to wear close-toed sturdy shoes!
Group Volunteering
We host volunteer groups from places such as universities and businesses.
We can typically work with groups of up to 25 people at a time.
Your group can volunteer for a few hours or a full day. We’ll work with you to meet your group’s goals and timeframe!
Please make sure to wear clothes you feel comfortable moving in and get a little dirty! We also require you to wear close-toed sturdy shoes!
Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities
Adult farm volunteer program
Interested in farming or gardening?
Learn how our farm works and be a part of the operation!
This is an ongoing commitment so we will try to work with you to find a regular schedule that works for you! We will also encourage you to find times when you could volunteer a minimum of half of a day to get in the farming groove!
You will work alongside our farmers to learn about proper techniques and how we operate our farm - this is a unique opportunity to support our mission and gain a lot of knowledge!

LEAF Board and Committees
Interested in organizational governance?
Be a part of our dynamic board or committees that support LEAF!
We have a wide range of topics (from finance to fundraising to governance ) that committees at LEAF oversee - there really is something for everyone! Committees typically meet for one hour, once a month and may be asked to do some work in between meetings! If you’re interested, we are happy to talk with you about which committee might be a good fit for you!
Our wonderful board meets once per month, attends at least two programmatic events in the year and an annual retreat, and participates in committees (and of course does so much more!). There are a few ways to join our board and we’d be happy to talk to you about how to join LEAF leadership!
